Before You Get Offended, Let Me Explain
Every time I see a Realtor close a bigger deal than me…
It pisses me off.
Every time I see a broker recruit more agents than me…
It pisses me off.
Every time I see someone build a bigger company than me…
It pisses me off.
Not because I want them to fail.
Because their success reminds me that somebody is operating at a level I haven’t reached yet.
And I hate being behind.
Most people see successful Realtors and get inspired.
I see successful Realtors and get challenged.
Their success is proof that another level exists.
And if another level exists, I want it.

The Difference Between Hate and Competition
Let’s be honest.
Most people don’t actually want competition.
They want to win.
There’s a difference.
Everybody loves being ahead.
Very few people enjoy chasing somebody better than them.
I do.
Because chasing successful people forces me to ask uncomfortable questions:
- What are they doing that I’m not?
- What systems have they built?
- What opportunities are they seeing?
- How hard are they actually working?
Every successful Realtor becomes a mirror.
And sometimes I don’t like what that mirror shows me.
That’s why they piss me off.

Somebody Is Always Building Something Bigger
One lesson real estate teaches quickly:
No matter how successful you become…
Somebody is doing more.
Somebody is making more.
Somebody is buying more investment property.
Somebody is building a bigger brokerage.
Somebody is creating a larger brand.
The moment you think you’ve made it…
You’re already losing ground.
That’s why comfort is dangerous.
Comfort creates excuses.
Competition creates growth.

Why I Study Winners
I study top Realtors.
I study top CEOs.
I study top investors.
I study people who have built things most people only dream about.
Not because I admire success.
Because I want to understand it.
Success leaves clues.
And if somebody is beating me, there is probably a lesson hidden somewhere in their story.
Most people see successful people and feel envy.
I see successful people and see homework.

Final Thought
So when I say:
“I fucking hate every Realtor that’s better than me.”
What I really mean is this:
I hate being behind them.
I hate knowing another level exists that I haven’t reached yet.
I hate wasted potential.
I hate comfort.
I hate excuses.
Because every successful Realtor I see reminds me that I can think bigger.
Work harder.
Recruit better.
Invest smarter.
And become more than I am today.
That’s not jealousy.
That’s competition.
And competition has built every great company, every great entrepreneur, and every great real estate empire this industry has ever seen.
